The old man in my house, aside from me, is my cat Bella. Bella is coming up on his 15th birthday. I got him as a kitten in May of 1993 and he has been with me through most of my 20’s and 30’s. In that time, Bella and I have lived in seven different homes together. How’s that for commitment?

It’s April 1st. For some it’s April Fool’s Day. For me, it reminds me that my birthday is coming soon. Birthdays seem to come and go more quickly than ever. With recent events, it seems that time in general seems to fly by more quickly than ever. So fast that I barely have time to think “where did the time go?”. So this month, leading up to my birthday, I’m working on a post a day as a way to slow down and capture time. It could be a single sentence or an entire page. Who knows. Will I do it? I suppose we’ll see.
In the meantime, Happy April 1st.
