The Police – Live in Concert!

A sea of cars in the parking lot surrounding Dodger Stadium before the show. It took us an hour and half to get out afterwards!

The Foo Fighters’ performance was great and really got the crowd involved.

A nice breeze, clear skies and the moon before The Police start performing.

Looking toward the stands at Dodger Stadium from behind the stage near the dugout. From what Sting said later during the show, it was near capacity with 55,000 people in attendance.

The Police take the stage!

The stage setup and large screens offered a great view to the entire crowd.

I’ve seen Sting in concert during his solo tours a couple of times in the last ten years. It’s great to see him back as part of The Police. I’m also happy to say his performing and singing is just as good as it’s always been.

The impressive sound and lighting really added to the energy in the stadium.

Stewart Copeland’s drumming and Andy Sumner’s guitar playing seem to be better than ever.

Combined with the Foo Fighters’ performance earlier in the evening, this is one of the best concerts I’ve seen.

Thanks to my friend Barry for sharing his tickets and allowing me to tag along!
